Ray DeWeese
Senior Vice President, Midwest Region

As Senior Vice President, Ray DeWeese has oversight of IMG College’s Midwest Region, which includes 13 properties. In addition, DeWeese is responsible for integrating IMG College’s business lines with our Midwest collegiate partner programs, as well as developing new initiatives that add value to these programs. Ray also pursues new collegiate multimedia partnerships and collaborates on extending current relationships. IMG College, the nation’s leading collegiate marketing business, has multimedia partnerships with more than 90 leading collegiate institutions, conferences, venues and associations.
 
DeWeese spent four years as the General Manager of IMG's Ohio State Sports Marketing property. With more than 15 years of experience in the sport industry, DeWeese directed a range of strategic initiatives to successfully leverage Ohio State Athletics assets to maximize IMG’s investment and EBITDA impact. He was recognized by Sports Business Journal in the 2015 “Forty under 40” class for his accomplishments in leading the largest college multi-media rights property in the country.
 
DeWeese spent three and a half years with IMG when the company first attained the multi-media rights at Ohio State before leaving to run marketing as the Managing Director for Ohio State Sports Marketing client, AEP Energy.  His primary responsibility at AEP Energy was to create a centralized marketing function for the deregulated company. The resulting structure, as created, is still in place today.
 
Prior to AEP Energy, DeWeese was the General Sales Manager of The Ohio State Buckeyes Radio Network (RadiOhio, Inc.). The network broke gross and net revenue records each year of his leadership. In addition, he was involved in the process of combining RadiOhio, Inc assets within the IMG bid for the Ohio State multi-media rights and became an IMG employee upon the awarding of those rights from Ohio State to IMG.

DeWeese was the Director of Marketing for the Baylor Athletics Department from 2005-2007, after serving as the Assistant Business Manager from 2004-2005.  He earned his Master’s degree from Baylor University in Sport Management in 2004.
 
An active community member, DeWeese serves on the St. Catharine Parish Council, St. Stephens Community House Board and Demascus Advisory Committee. Ray and his wife, Mandy, live in Columbus, Ohio with their five children Natalie, Cameron, Allie, Lyla and Elizabeth.
